Attorney General Candidates
The two candidates for the Democratic nomination for Oregon Attorney General spoke at the November Marion County Democrats monthly meeting: John Kroger (left) and Rep. Greg Macpherson (right).
Oregon Democrats are fortunate to have two attractive and qualified candidates running for their nomination as Attorney General. John Kroger is a professor at Lewis & Clark Law School, a former prosecutor and veteran of the Clinton Administration. Rep. Greg Macpherson is a long-time champion of land use planning in Oregon and successfully led the joint legislative committee that authored Measure 49.
The candidates briefly introduced themselves and then took questions from the audience. Democrats from Polk, Linn and Benton Counties joined Marion County Democrats for this special program with the Democratic county chairs from the guest counties leading off the questioning.
