On Wednesday, October 1, Marion DemoForum welcomes Marcia Kelly, President, Board of Directors, Salem Area Transit District and Allan Pollock, General Manager of the District. Join us to learn more about the transit levy (Measure 24-247) and to ask questions about the progress of the "Yes on Cherriots" campaign. Measure 24-247 will provide increased frequency to high demand bus routes and prevent cuts to existing service. Saturday service will be protected with Measure 24-247. Passing Measure 24-247 will also help our community transit system prepare for future economic downturns and rising cost of gas. The DemForum is a regular luncheon event featuring speeches by by Democratic and progressive officeholders and candidates. The $11 cost includes a buffet lunch, tea, and gratuity. Reservations are required
